I'm Hayley Bennett

M.S. CCC-SLP, CEO

I graduated with my Bachelors and Masters Degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from San Francisco state university in 2020. I have worked as a school-based SLP for the entirety of my career, completing evaluations for a range of communicative disorders, conducting one on one and group therapy, both in person and virtually. I have a passion for working with families from a variety of cultural backgrounds and strive to make speech-language therapy engaging by tailoring care to each patient's interests, strengths, and needs.

  • The services offered and diagnosis treated are specialized to the preschool to early elementary population which include, but are not limited to, early language development, late talkers, preschool speech and language, speech sound disorders, and Autism.

    In addition to direct treatment, virtual parent coaching and special education consultation and advocacy services are available.

I'm Michelle Harper

With more than 30 years of experience working with children and families and 20 years of teaching adults in a variety of higher educational settings, Dr. Michelle Harper has the expertise to help educators and parents develop fresh skills to support children.

I have taught at many colleges and universities since 1999 teaching Child Development, Education and Psychology courses.  Currently, I’m an Associate Professor at Mt San Jacinto College and adjunct at several other California colleges.  My instructional focus is curriculum, diversity and special needs populations including children with disabilities and children experiencing trauma. 

My goal is to unify her passion of mental health, child development and adult learning to improve the lives of children.

  • Dr. Harper provides parent coaching and training to families here on Speech Street. Move the needle on your parenting a few degrees. Parent a few degrees less anxious, overwhelmed and stressed. Gradually move a few degrees closer to parenting more confidently, more sane and with more joy.

    No matter what challenge you are facing, there is support for parents of children of all ages on any of the follow issues: Challenging Behavior ,Setting Limits ,Support a child with special needs

    Parent Coaching helps parents learn about the science of child development and obtain social support which may bring you a little more sanity ( Science + Social Support=Sanity). Coaching can focus on identifying and accessing community supports and discovering techniques and strategies to help children learn.

  • I have worked with a wide array of organizations such as, Sunny Days Early Intervention, Riverside Community College- Foster Youth Program, Moorpark/ Simi Valley Neighborhood for Learning, Devereaux, and Aspira Raising Hope. Her work within these organizations includes Behavior Analyst, Social Worker, Clinical Case Manager and Early Interventionist.
